The Women’s Ministry offers opportunities for women to grow spiritually, serve faithfully and strengthen their love for Christ, the church and one another. The Ministry allows women to bond in sisterhood to celebrate the joys and cope with the challenges of spiritual growth and christian development. A retreat, conference, prayer breakfasts, mother-daughter luncheon, Christmas fellowship and workshops are annual Christ-centered events. Additionally, nine Fruit of the Spirit groups meet monthly for a general assembly fellowship, for Bible study and as individual groups for women to learn and grow holistically.
The Fruit of the Spirit Women's Ministry at Ebenezer Baptist Church is open to all women and is intended to glorify God, teach the Word and meet the spiritual and physical needs of the women God sends. It is the goal of Women's Ministry to see each woman build a close, intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow to maturity in her faith and reproduce that relationship in the lives of others.
2007 Women's Ministry Retreat Ebenezer Baptist Church
Ladies, get ready… get ready… get ready… for the Ebenezer Baptist Church -- 2007 Women’s Retreat, this year’s theme is “Women In Newness – Preferred, Privileged, & Empowered for the Kingdom” 2 Corinthians. 5:17. We invite you to join us as we seek to be energized spiritually for the journey and made new for God’s purposes today.
The Women’s Retreat will be held October 5 – 7, 2007 at the beautiful Sandy Cove Conference Center, an all inclusive Christian retreat center located in North Point, MD on the head of the Chesapeake Bay. The retreat is open to all the women of Ebenezer; your families and friends are also welcome to participate.
Our emphasis this year will be spiritual renewal and wholeness, as we focus on, being chosen and given priority in God’s plan, appointed for such a time as this, and receiving power and authority to walk into our destiny.
Registration includes 2 nights lodging, all meals, conference materials, bus transportation to and from the retreat center and all workshops and worship sessions. The cost is $28.00 per person for triple occupancy. We will begin registration on Sunday June 3, immediately following both services. If you are interested in lodging other than triple occupancy, please ask one of the ladies during your registration. Payment plans and conference schedules will be available at the registration table. We look forward to learning and growing together.
