The Sports Ministry mission is to glorify Jesus Christ by promoting physical and emotional well-being and spiritual growth, through sports, wellness and recreation. Physical challenges are vital to spiritual growth and the ministry provides many avenues and opportunities for all members to participate in sports events and programs. Interaction with others in the congregation who have similar interests, such as golf, softball, bowling or basketball, is encouraged. The ministry’s goals are to have a great time and worship God during play. Sponsored activities include the Annual Summer Basketball Camp, Prince William Middle School Basketball League, cheerleading and other organized community- outreach sports activities.

Mission

The mission of the EBC Sports Ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by promoting physical and emotional well-being and continued spiritual growth. This is done through the areas of sports, wellness and recreation; all activities in which every EBC member can participate. We believe that physical challenges are vital to spiritual growth and our aim is to provide as many avenues as possible to make this happen.

By participating with our sports ministry you can meet others with similar interests like golf, softball, bowling or basketball. We have a great time and worship God while we play.
